Summer 2011 - concrete block wall, some stone masonry veneer.....

 

 

Finished wall, coping and address letters...

 

Fall 2011 - truck away all the extra soil....

 

 

Summer 2012 - tear out the front deck.....discover an entire concrete porch underneath it...

 

  

 

Frame new deck and install wiring for lighting....

Ok, first attempt at posting ongoing news.....

OTTAWA!  5.5 hours in the car (thank you portable DVD player), and likely the highlight for the kids was the pool at the hotel.....close second the card to open the hotel room door (you stick the card in the door and the light goes green and the door OPENS!)
